ST2XL
ST2XL is a slow-burning, high-density smokeless powder developed for heavy field shotshells and specialty loads. ST2XL’s progressive burn rate delivers consistent pressures, excellent velocity potential, and dependable ignition across a wide range of temperature conditions. Ideal for magnum shotshell applications, ST2XL provides the power needed for heavy payloads while maintaining clean-burning performance and consistent metering. ST2XL shows a strong performance range in 10-gauge, 12-gauge 3″ and 3-1/2″ loads from 1-1/4 oz to 1-1/2 oz of steel shot. ST2XL also performs well in heavier field loads in 20 gauge. Ballistic testing shows a similarity to Steel and N105. Identifier: small (1.1 mm x 1.1 mm x 0.3 mm) gray granular flakes.
